  • Advertise to the right group of people - optimize your website content around key phrases that describe your product the best possible way thus way you will get only highly interested visitors especially if you are doing pay per click advertising.
  • Make sure you are tracking and analyzing the results from your advertising - you must know how successful your campaign is.
  • Don't make senseless expenses on pop-up ads since most internet surfers have pop-up blockers installed
  • Don't ever send SPAM - put aside its illegal, this is the shortest way to get your domain banned. I don't open emails from unknown sender no matter what subject line tells me.
  • Don't spend a fortune for website development - technological miracles are not required to advertise successfully and profitably. More often the clean design and smartly delivered message are far more effective than any flash effects that take forever to load and a fast internet connection to be seen correctly.
  • Always include call to action - since you are advertising an outstanding product with huge benefits, remind your visitors that they can enjoy these benefits by buying the product.
  • Don't let your visitors get lost on your website because of confused or missing navigation - let them have easy access to your home page, categories, sitemap, about us and contact pages, search, register, subscribe forms, make sure they are no more than three clicks away from your order form.
